An electoral data app for Columbians
Provided by the National Registry of Civil Status, Elecciones Colombia 2023 is a free tool that contains information on candidates, polling venues, and the like, allowing Colombian voters to view electoral data from their fingertips. This app, however, is specifically developed for the country’s regional elections.
Easy access to information
The Elecciones Colombia 2023 app features eight buttons on the screen, each redirecting to a particular electoral information. This can be the FAQ page, preliminary election results, and important dates, to name a few. Unfortunately, the app does not support the real-time display of election results.
Adding to the above drawback, the program does not include the photos and programs of candidates, and the frequent crashes make the app more of a nuisance than a blessing. Plus, there have been user reports of the app continuously getting stuck in loading status.
Riddled with technical problems
Though it is a one-stop hub for accessing election-related data, Elecciones Colombia 2023 sadly falls short of most people’s expectations due to technical issues—ranging from infinite loading to crashes. Given the aforementioned hiccups, this app is more of an inconvenience to use.
